How Forged Digital Design Started

Forged started small. I was building websites for people we knew, and word got around. It grew into a real business, and we run it together as a couple.

There's nothing better than watching a new business launch its first website, or helping an established one finally get the online presence it deserves. Seeing a client's vision come to life and bringing in customers is what drives us.

My wife, Stephanie, is our co-founder and a professional interior designer. She's the creative brain behind how every site looks and feels: the color, the layout, and the details that make a business look polished and trustworthy. I'm the lead developer, so I take her vision and build it. Her design expertise and my development skills make a good blend: sites that look right and work right.

Before getting into web development, I served in the United States Marine Corps. That experience taught me discipline, attention to detail, and how to get things done right the first time. I bring that same mindset to every project.

Based in Bluffton, SC, I work with small businesses locally — including Hilton Head Island — and nationwide. I've built on WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify—but I moved away from them for a reason. Every site I build now is custom-coded for speed, security, and full ownership. Beyond websites, I also develop full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js, along with database integration, real-time systems, and AI-powered tools. Whatever your project requires, we have the experience to make it happen.
